Mahua is the Founder and Artistic Director of Adhuna Theatre Company, with over three decades dedicated to exploring the intersections of dance, theatre, and storytelling. Trained in Kathak, her practice fuses classical movement with contemporary theatre to examine history, mythology, and social justice. Her acclaimed works—including Kanupriya, Yaar Julahe, and Babasaheb: The Grand Musical—have been performed at major international festivals. Recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi and Parampara Awards, she continues to create powerful, socially resonant performances that use art as a medium for reflection and transformation.
